Hello! I already intoduced myself in the International section and after reading you're topics and projects I found out that you have done a lot more engine tuning.

That's why I hope you can help with my MKII HGT and from reading you're i'm interrested in two options:

* Upgrading it the Leone Motor Sports way. (2500cc and 220cv - possible on a MKII?)
* Place a 20v Turbo engine from a Coupe with a 6-speed gearbox.

I'm willing to drive to Italia to have these conversions done. So my question is do you have information of where this can be done and has this been done?
Because my Italian is not good enough to understand what you are writing it is hard to collect information so I hope you guys can help me

:bravo:

I know there's Leone motor sports in Roma, as you said...

i know that the 6 gearbox can only be found in a fiat coupè limited edition, and it's difficult to find one.. ;(

for the two options...

i prefear turbo, because with the original motor you have at least 150hp, and it's easy to upgrade... :sbav:

and you have a turbo!!!

with the upgrading of the cylinders capacity, it's a good way, but it's a stress for the original engine and transmission..

although a turbo is more clear at eyes if a policeman :dark: asks you to open the bonnet!

so, if you have many money, why don't take a 2000 turbo 20V and upgrade to 2500cc?

can you imagine? :sbav: :sbav: :sbav:

2500cc turbo... maybe the best... :metallica: :metallica: :metallica:

I Agree, best solution (and more cheap one) is change engine with turbo engine, 2000 20v turbo, more torque :metallica: :metallica: easy choose, better result, and easy to upgrete in future! 5 geare is ok! But if you find 6 gear is better!! Maybe you can keep your gear, maybe is more short than Coupe and 0-100 km/h.... :D

:metallica:

Hahaha oke so you rekkon a Turbo engine is a better and cheaper solution?

If so I have to find someone who can rebuild my car to a 20v turbo... That is going to be a quest trough Holland hahaha.
I only want the 20v turbo with 6 gears because those gears are shorter in the lowest gears!

In Holland it is legal to change youre engine but you have to get youre car checked by an official station and you get a new license plate.

Now I have to find a Coupe Plus of LE

that's not true...

if you want, you can ask to the TUV... it costs a lot of money, but it's the (only) way...

or you can sell you car to a german... omologate the engine... and re-buy the car
